Office Manager / Billing Specialist


Warren is a registered Radiation Therapist and Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.  He graduated in 1982 from St. Phillips College in San Antonio, TX with an Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology.  In 1983, he received a Certificate in Radiation Therapy Technology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.  In 2008, he completed a Bachelor’s of Science in Healthcare Management and in 2012 received an MBA in Finance and International Management at Bellevue University.


He is a Veteran of the United States Army Reserve.  He likes working on and riding antique motorcycles, watching movies, and visiting family.  He is the Secretary/Treasurer and current Board Member for the Columbus Cancer Care Foundation.

Medical Director


Dr. Joan Keit is the founder of Midwest Radiation Oncology. Dr. Keit graduated cum laude from Villanova University and with honors from the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine Internship at Staten Island University Hospital in New York. Dr. Keit completed her Radiation Oncology Residency at Hahnemann University Hospital.  She was awarded the American Cancer Society Clinical Oncology Fellowship. Dr. Keit is American Board of Radiology Certified in Radiation Oncology, and is a Fellow of the the American College of Radiation Oncology.

She is published in peer reviewed journals, such as Cancer and has authored textbook chapters on Prostate and Ovarian Cancer.

Kaylen Biltoft B.S. RT(R)(CT)(T)
Lead Radiation Therapist


Kaylen is a registered Radiation Therapist, who is also registered in Computed Tomography and Radiographic Technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist. Originally from Hershey, NE.  She graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Imaging and Associate of Science in Radiologic Technology from Clarkson College in Omaha, NE.  While obtaining these degrees she did her clinical training at Columbus Community Hospital in the Radiology Department.  After working as a CT and Radiologic Technologist in Western Nebraska & Kansas she returned to finish her education as a Radiation Therapist in Phoenix, AZ.  She received a Certificate in Radiation Therapy from Gateway Community College in Phoenix, AZ in 2010 after completing her clinical training at several prestigious hospitals in the Phoenix area .  She joined Dr. Keit in 2011 when Columbus Cancer Care opened it's doors in Columbus, NE.  


She is the Operations Director for Columbus Cancer CARE Foundation and a Wish Granter for Make-A-Wish of Nebraska.  She enjoys spending her time off with her husband Lynn traveling to see their families, gardening, and watching movies.

Bethany Hinrichs B.S. RT(R)(T)
Radiation Therapist


Bethany is a registered Radiation Therapist and Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist.  She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Imaging & Therapeutic Sciences as well as a Post-Baccalaureate Professional Certification in Radiation Therapy with High Distinction from University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE.  She was born and raised in northeast Nebraska and enjoys to be able to provide care in a smaller community.


She is an avid Husker fan and looks forward to football season every year.

Christy Rhoads
Administrative Assistant

Christy is married and a mother of 4. She enjoys, hunting, fishing and camping with her family.  She also enjoys yard work, gardening, and landscaping.

Josh is one of the Medical Physicist. He is the Vice President of Operations of the Jaeger Corporation and helps provide medical physics services to cancer centers throughout the Midwest.

Zoey & Teddy 
Therapy Pets

Zoey is one of our pet therapy dogs.  She is a Maltipoo who has been at the clinic since she was just a baby. She spends her days here at the clinic greeting our patients and their families and gets to go home with Dr. Keit at night.  She enjoys taking naps, hiding toys, and eating treats if she can talk you out of one.  She has graduated from PetSmart Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Obedience classes, with honors.

Teddy is our latest addition as a pet therapy dog. He is Maltipoo/ Lhasa Apso/ Shih Tzu who joined the clinic in July 2016.  He is quite the lover, who prefers to be the center of attention, and is full of energy.  He spends his days here at the clinic and gets to join Zoey at home with Dr. Keit at night.  He enjoys filling the spot as younger brother, picking on Zoey, stealing and hiding toys and chewing on things. He has graduated from PetSmart Beginner Obedience classes and is looking forward to finishing up his training.
